I am an Assistant Professor of Neurology with subspecialty focus and certification in Neuro-Oncology. As such my research efforts have centered around Neuro-Oncologic conditions in both benign and malignant tumors involving the central and peripheral nervous system. My focus has been on clinical investigation into new and updated treatments for these conditions. I have served as site PI on multiple cooperative group trials as well as co-investigator and sub-investigator on several investigator initiated clinical trials geared at better management of nervous system tumors. I have successfully administered these projects and collaborated within and outside our division and departments to recruit patients into these trials which due to rarity of these conditions are challenging to recruit for. These studies have produced several peer-reviewed publications. I have the expertise, leadership, and training necessary to lead and develop new projects both amongst cooperative groups and in the investigator-initiated space to provide new information in the treatment of CNS based tumors.
