Profile

My research focuses on advancing machine learning applications in medical image processing and informatics, which will be instrumental in the proposed project to mitigate climate change impacts on vulnerable populations’ health in the Southeast United States. With extensive experience in developing scalable informatics systems, I will lead efforts to integrate environmental data with electronic health records (EHRs) from Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This integration will leverage my expertise in harmonizing complex datasets and applying advanced models, such as those used in neuroimaging and body composition analysis, to predict health outcomes related to climate change.
