Profile
I am an Associate Professor and health services researcher with special emphasis on implementation research. I have broad knowledge and training in research, implementation science, mixed-methods research (interviews and surveys), qualitative research and instrument development. I also have experience with knowing how to relate to stakeholders given my broad interactions with hospital leaders, implementation teams, and clinical staff during research studies. As a PI or Co-Investigator on internally and externally funded studies, I have led research to investigate contextual factors, assess implementation strategies and outcomes using the RE-AIM framework, develop sustainability measures, and assess intervention clinical outcomes and sustainability focused on patient safety (medication reconciliation, rapid response teams, patient medication knowledge, breast cancer survivors). I am well suited to serve as Co-Investigator on this proposed research and bring to this project my research and implementation expertise, leadership, training, and the motivation necessary to successfully carry out the proposed research.
